Lend a hand, and make a difference!
Many older adults want to live in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. Volunteering for Help@Home gives older adults the support they need to stay safe and comfortable. No matter your skill set, there is someone who would appreciate your efforts and your company! Here are some of the available volunteer opportunities:
Do you enjoy helping around the house? Are you a go-to fix-it person?
Volunteer handymen make homes safe for aging older adults. They provide minor home repairs and household chores, so older adults don’t have to climb ladders, haul boxes, or other potentially dangerous activities. Learn more.
Do you have computer know-how?
Volunteer computer support technicians use their technical know-how to make sure older adults are always a click away from connecting with friends and family. They provide in-home and remote-access computer troubleshooting to keep older adults connected. Learn more.
We also are looking for volunteer home organizers and gardeners. If this is your talent or hobby, we’d love to have you join our volunteer corps!
